7 Reasons Prayer Changes Things

Prayer is a good point of connection between you and God. It is through prayer that we commune with God on a personal level and proper fellowship takes place. However, so many people find it difficult to pray and even when they do, they don’t get answers to their prayers because of so many reasons. Today, I am sharing an amazing wisdom that will help you pray and get results. It is called the 7 Reasons Prayer Changes Things.
1.      Moses Prayed like it would actually change God’s mind (and it did).
Ex 32:11-14
Then Moses pleaded with the Lord his God, and said: "Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? 12 Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, 'He brought them out to harm them, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth'? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and relent from this harm to Your people. 13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self, and said to them,'I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.'"   14 So the Lord relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people. NKJV

2.      Joshua Prayed like it would stop the sun from going down (and it did).
Josh 10:12-14
12 Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel:
"Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon." 13 So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. NKJV

3.      Hannah Prayed like it would result in her having a child (and it did).
1 Sam 1:27-28
27 For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him. NKJV

4.      Elijah Prayed like it would actually change the situation (and it did).
James 5:17-18
17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. NKJV

5.      David Prayed like it would stop the plague (and it did).
2 Sam 24:25
25 And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel. NKJV

6.      Jesus Prayed like it would raise Lazarus from the dead (and it did).
John 11:41-44
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.  42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me."  43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!"  44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go." NKJV

7.      Jesus said that we can pray like it will change situations (and it will).
John 14:13-14
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. NKJV
When You Pray, believe that God has the answers to all the things that you asked for and He will do these things according to His will for you. I encourage you to pray as if your prayer will change things around you and it will.
