They say that “life
begins at 40” but I say that life begins when you live love and allowed
yourself to be loved. The true essence of life is not in attainment of an age
or a position that is enviable, the essence of life is when one live love on a
daily basis. The key secret to life is: live love, live long life filled with
grace.
How can you live love? You
cannot live what you don’t have. So to begin with, you need love before you can
live love. That is why God is love and pours out his life for us in his Son
Jesus Christ so that when we receive the love of God __Jesus__ we
receive grace to live love and live long life. When we receive love, then
through fellowship or relationships we can live love and help establish one
another to live love.
One of the major components of love is care
and nurturing. When we live love, we care and nurture not only others but
ourselves too. We moved from just thinking about ourselves or about others only
and create a balance where our lives count as well as the lives of other
people. It is at this stage that we can boldly say, live love, live life
because we all receive and give love with the primary objective to bettering
lives without our selfish interest impeding on it.
When we become people
of love, we will receive long life because God said in his word that “I will
reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” Ps 91:16
