Thinking Through

Everyone that lives on the face of the earth as a human thinks at one point or the other. There is no doubt that we are thinking beings because by default we were crafted to respond appropriately to the environment we all live in. We think about things because we want to make progress in life. That progress can be helpful, hurtful or damaging depending on the direction that we focus our minds.
The problem though is not about thinking, the problem is that our thinking most of the time is not directional. So many things come to our minds to think about and we do think about such things but not the way we should be thinking because time and energy is mostly focus on things that are trivial while the important things are left out in our thinking.
Thinking through is the most important part of thinking because it brings light that takes away the darkness that overshadows our hopes to live to our full potential in life. Do you know that everything that has moved the world today comes as a result of thinking through? Do you know that how you think about yourself is who you are in the real sense? Do you know that the difference between the rich and the poor is in their thought life?
Many years ago, a wise man once said something about a person who thinks, “For as he or she thinks in his or her heart so is he or she” (Pro. 23:7). If you think well about yourself you will live well, if you think bad about yourself you will live like that.
The heart of thinking therefore is in the mind. The mind is the incubator of thoughts. When it is properly used, the thoughts that will be hatched will be good, excellent and productive thoughts that will transform an individual. But if the thoughts incubated in your mind are not productive, the result will be entirely retrogressive.
Albert Einstein once said that “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life believing that it is stupid”. You are a genius so stop thinking like a fool and be the true representative of yourself. Stop the thinking that you must be like another person, rather build your inner capacity and you will surprise yourself at how well and rich your life will turn out to be.
